To earn Magna Society recognition, dealers must demonstrate an exceptional level of customer service as well as strong business performance. Among the recipients, 12 dealerships were distinguished as 2014 Audi Elite Magna Society winners, a special honor for superior achievements as the best of the best.
The Magna Society was created by Audi to identify and recognize dealerships that go above and beyond the standard business objectives and sales targets. To qualify for Magna Society status, a dealership must show that they are engaged in sales and service programs and adhere to specific business processes. Their facility and staff should also properly represent the Audi brand and culture.
“The caliber of the Audi dealer network in the United States continues to increase each year, and the commitment of our dealer partners is one of the key catalysts in Audi becoming the top luxury brand in the United States,” said Mark Del Rosso, EVP and Chief Operating Officer, Audi of America. “The Magna Society Awards are a tribute to those dealers that model how a successful dealership should operate and truly exemplify the Audi brand values.”
The Magna Society awards fit with long-range plans established by Audi and its franchise partners to make Audi facilities more exclusive. In 2014, the number of dealership locations exclusively selling Audi models increased by the end of the year to 173 in the U.S. from 15 dealerships operating in 1999. Audi also increased its share of the U.S. imported luxury car segment to 10.9% based on record annual U.S. sales of 182,011 units in 2014.”
